In both Middle School and High School, students have the opportunity to run for a state office position! Being in a state office allows students to grow in their leadership skills and create friendships!

The main responsibility of the state boards is to plan and run the next convention! There are two different boards that students are able to run for. High school juniors are able to run for a position on the high school board so they can serve their senior year. Students in the eighth grade are able to run for a position on the middle-level state board.

The December convention is where the next high school board is elected. During the December convention a whole new high school board is elected as well as two middle level representatives. In April, the middle-level has their own stand alone convention. At the middle-level convention three Co-Vice Presidents are elected, and one President.
